Symposium registration fees

Registration fees rates are outlined below displaying the two options (in-person* or virtual attendance**).
*The registration fees cover attendance, access to the symposium each day including costs of coffee, lunches, and certificates.
**The registration fees include virtual access, e-certificates, e-program, and e-book.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation is permitted until May 1, 2022. However, reimbursement is only possible in local currency (TND).

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Organizing Secretariat by email to contact contact@isclb2022.com and contact@alice.com.tn.

Certificates of Attendance will be available after the Symposium. Stay tuned for updates about where to find them!

ISCLB 2022 has arranged for a preferential rate for our attendees at the Symposium venue based on availablity. Participants can arrange their accommodation via the agency Alice Events  at contact@alice.com.tn which will provide confirmation to participants. Transportation

Details about the flight schedule should be sent to Alice events a week before if you wish to get a shuttle from the Airport to the Hotel (additional fees of 15Euros/person).

Field Tour

There will also be an opportunity to participate in a field tour on May 14, 2022, to acquaint participants with Tunisian research platforms, researchers, developers, and farmers; a unique opportunity where we will have public-private sector interactions.

Travel and Visa information

International participants will need a passport valid for at least 90 days following their departure date from Tunisia. Please make sure your passport has blank visa pages.

Please checklist of countries at  https://www.visahq.com.au/tunisia/ that do not need a visa for a stay of less than three months.

Participants from countries not mentioned above are advised to contact their nearest Tunisian Embassy to check visa entry requirements. Please check at least three months before traveling.

A visa costs around 30 EUR and is valid for 90 days.

Please take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance before traveling.

In order to assist with the travel visa application process, we will provide a letter of invitation upon request. This letter aims to only assist participants for their travel to Tunisia and does not imply any commitment for the Organizing Committee to provide financial support.

The closest airport to the Symposium Venue is the international airport Tunis-Carthage (20 min. to the Symposium Venue).

COVID19- Latest Exemption

10th February 2022

Fully vaccinated travelers need to present official evidence of vaccination but are no longer required to provide a PCR or rapid test to enter the country. Unvaccinated travelers must take either a PCR test less than 48 hours before travel or a rapid lateral flow test less than 24 hours before travel and carry dated evidence of a negative result. This test must include a QR code. All arriving air passengers must complete this Tunisian government (https://app.e7mi.tn/language) before arrival.
