The CGF Antonio research- team is responsible for the Brazilian participation in the International Rice Genome Sequencing Project (IRGSP) and IOMAP (International Oryza Alignment Map), presenting scientific and student exchanges with several universities in Brazil (UFRGS, UFRJ, UFSM, UNIJUÍ, UFV and UPF) and from abroad (UGA, University of Arizona, CINVESTAV-Mexico, Universidad Politecnica de Madrid.
Dr. Antonio Costa de Oliveira research work led to over 430 publications and over 9380 citations and 62,519 reads.
Antonio manages several local & international funded projects. He is currently running several projects with various national and International Institutions to include CIMMYT, FAO, IRRI, IAEA He has supervised in so far 97 Graduate students.
