James Hane

Bioinformatics Project Leader

Dr James Hane is the bioinformatics project leader at the Centre for Crop & Disease Management, which is co-funded by Curtin University and the Grains Research & Development Corporation and based in Perth, Western Australia.  Dr Hane has been involved in several fungal genome projects, particularly for cereal necrotrophs, and has research interests across various aspects of pathogenomics, including: effector biology, genome plasticity, repeat-induced point mutation (RIP), accessory chromosomes and lateral-gene transfer.
